Welcome to Inertia Diaries, a travel blog meant for the restless daydreamers of the world.

Why “Inertia Diaries?”

According to one of Newton’s laws, an object in motion will remain in motion. And so it is with travel, we’ve found. It’s like that kids’ book “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.” Except in our case it was more like “If You Give a Girl a Passport…”

Anyway, you get the metaphor. Once you start, you just cant stop.

You develop an insatiable case of wanderlust. Every trip, every adventure pushes you farther and farther out of your comfort zone, shattering your routines and expanding your mind with new perspectives. It quite literally opens up a world of opportunities to meet new people, sample new foods, and escape the mundane.

It’s one thing to see something on social media or TV; it’s another thing entirely to experience it firsthand.

This blog will be full of tips and resources for travelers, whether you’re planning your first trip or your hundredth. From how to finance your travels to how to stay safe while abroad, we’ll definitely try to cover it all.

If nothing else, hopefully this blog will inspire you to challenge yourself and go somewhere you haven’t been before.
